Hear Kenneth’s story…

Kenneth Alessandro, a third year student studying Digital Communication Arts at Oregon State was born in Indonesia. He has now has lived in Oregon for 2 years, but his family is still in Indonesia, and his sister is in Seattle. Growing up, his dad had originally introduced him to sneaker fashion with his first pair of basketball shoes. Playing basketball was a way of bonding then, and is an activity Kenneth will always take to heart. Now, since moving away and continuing his college career, he has never ceased to stop his basketball shoes collection and still connects with his father, though he is thousands of miles away.

Kenneth was first attracted to the idea of art when observing the classes for his now current degree in Digital Communication Arts. Despite his love for shoes and street wear fashion, his main focus at this moment is graduating (this summer) and moving to Seattle where his sister is located. Grad school is among the horizon, but the question still lies of where his final destination will be, Indonesia or somewhere in the states?

Street wear is something quite appealing to Kenneth, his side passion for fashion has developed into some of his two current favorite street wear brands: Supreme and Off-White. For Kenneth, these brands have been producing the most hyped drops for this fall/winter season. More specifically with Off-White’s collaboration with Nike, and Supreme’s collaboration with more established brands like Louis Vuitton, Nike as well as Comme Des Garcons.

Kenneth didn’t care what he wore in high school, until dad got him in sneaker fashion. To this day, he still talks with him about the new fresh drops from Supreme. This has developed an even  stronger relationship between him and his dad. Although his father supports the hobby, he does not necessarily support it as a career. These days, you can often find Kenneth attempting to cop the drop when the newest edition of Supreme comes out and not buy the re sale price. He will still be continuing to support street wear fashion and continue collecting for his shoes as well.
